Enjoy the control of colored pencil AND the freedom and rapid coverage of watercolor to create a charming, sunlit scene of a flowering tree in a grassy space. The pigment in these colored pencils will spread when dampened, so the trick is to spread where you want swaths of color and use dry techniques where you want details and controlled edges. Focus will be on graceful lines and a sense of light and delicacy: impression, not necessarily reality.
